Here at Dreadx, we feel we do our best to always be as accommodating as possible. We, like you, have busy schedules and collectively acknowledge how valuable yours and our time is, but we also understand that sometimes, life happens. We’ve done our best to come up with what we think is a fair and just policy for both our clients and ourselves, and are confident you will agree. We are in a position of demand and as such, double-booking and a strict down-to-the-minute schedule is required. Out of respect for all parties and to keep the salon flowing in an orderly manner, please understand that the following policies are rigidly adhered to.

Cancellations

We understand that situations arise in which you must cancel your appointment. Therefore, you are requested to provide a minimum of 48 hours notice if you cancel your appointment. This will enable another person waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at that time. Salon appointments that are canceled with less than a 12-hour notice may be subject to a $100 cancelation fee. We require a card saved on file for no shows and last minute cancellation. 

Confirmation texts are made in advance as a courtesy to our clients to allow them a 72 hour period in which they may cancel or reschedule their appointment if need be.   This allows us enough time to fill the open spot with a client off our waiting list, and leaves the stylist without undesirable gaps in their schedule. Clients who do not show up for their appointment without a text to cancel an appointment will be considered a “no-show.” Clients who do not show 2 or more times in a 12-month period may be dismissed from the salon; thus, they will be denied any future appointments. Clients will also be subject to a $100 no-show fee.  

Cancellations for non-related illness within 48 hrs of your appointment will result in a 100% charge of your service price. If you fail to text or don’t show for your appointment, you WILL be charged the full amount to the card that we have on file. Please understand that we are holding time for you and, with such short notice,  we are unlikely to be able to fill that time with another client. 

The cancellation and no-show fees are the client’s sole responsibility and must be paid in full before the client can be scheduled again.

Cancellations or reschedules are made by text ONLY, it is your responsibility to text us directly to let us know If there needs to be changes made, email or voicemails will not be accepted as a form of contact since we are all busy with other clients, this way we also have a record in our system.

We understand that special unavoidable circumstances may cause you to cancel within 12 hours. Fees, in this instance, may be waived with management approval. Our business firmly believes that a good stylist/patient relationship is based upon understanding and good communication 

 

Please note: Your hair needs to be clean and dry or we will send you home and you will be charged 50% of the service.
